Semi-Recessed LCD Monitor Desks
Stengel Enterprises, Inc. FP Series Computer Furniture partially recess the LCD monitor into the worksurface placing the screen within students' field of view (just below the horizon line) providing an unobstructed sight-line between students, instructor and screen presentations.
Standard FP Series Computer Desks accommodate up to 19" flat panel LCD displays on their stands and allows positioning of the LCD flat screen at the ergonomically correct height, angle and distance for all types of Computer-Based Training (CBT).

The FP Series is available in two standard depths (26" and 30"), and may be specified with and without keyboard pullouts and/or CPU bays depending on your intended use, equipment and available space.

Stengel Enterprises, Inc. The desks are also offered in a range of standard widths to take full advantage of all usable space and meet classroom density requirements. In addition, multi-station units improve aesthetics and utility and reduce cost per station.

Semi-Recessed LCDs are also ideal for independent CBT (computer-based training). Students are comfortable over long sessions at the computer because the LCD screen is visible from any position - making shared computing and tutoring easier and noticeably maximizing concentration and visual ergonomics - even for bi-focal wearers.

Stengel Enterprises, Inc. FP Series Desks provide plenty of legroom and 28" wide pull-out keyboard/mouse platforms supported by full-extension ball-bearing slides.

Stengel Enterprises, Inc. workstations conceal and protect cables from monitor to CPU and from desk to desk to wall or floor with a full-height modesty panel (vented at top and bottom) supporting a wiring channel and optional power strip, and full-depth side panels with access grommets.


Angle connectors and extended top sizes are available to allow a variety of connected configurations (use our Classroom Design Questionnaire for room layouts and cost).

Several models for younger students may be specified with keyboards and mice on the desktop (without pullout platforms) to reduce floor space requirements and mechanical components; offering even greater economy and durability. Three heights are available for grades K - adult in single and double station configurations (go to Custom Products Request).


For increased leg-room and/or reduced station width, narrower CPU bays may be requested for "thin client" and "small-form" cases or the CPU/storage bays may be eliminated if you are using "all-in-one" computers like Apple's eMAC®.

Stengel Enterprises, Inc. exclusive Convertible CPU Bays accommodate tower or desktop cases optimizing room on the desktop for books and paperwork. Standard tower and convertible bays may be specified with optional rear access panels or locking hinged doors to facilitate access to rear of CPU cases.
